Daniel is halfway through the Delayed Intensification phase, which involves 3 new medications that each have a scary list of side effects, and an average of 2-3 hospital visits per week for 6 weeks.
Hopefully, we can start the second half on July 25, with another three weeks of treatment. Once that is over, we will all be doing the HAPPY DANCE!!
The next phase is Maintenance, and will last until April 2010. This involves hospital visits once every 4 weeks, and daily meds to take at home. Life goes back to normal, whatever that is!
